What BB Desk and the BB Desk Sync extension do with your data
BB Desk is a dashboard for DraftKings best-ball drafts. The BB Desk Sync extension exists to move your own drafts from DraftKings into that dashboard. This page says exactly what is read, where it goes, and what is never collected.
What the extension reads
- From draftkings.com, while you are signed in there: your list of entered best-ball contests, each draft's picks, each league's standings, and the current player prices. It uses your existing DraftKings sign-in and never sees or stores your password.
- From the BB Desk page: nothing beyond the messages needed to hand the data over.
Where it goes
- To the BB Desk page open in your browser, and to the extension's own storage in that browser so the next sync only fetches what is new.
- Nowhere else. The extension has no server. It never sends your data to us, to analytics services, or to any third party.
The BB Desk website
- Everything you load is stored in your browser. The site's server never receives your drafts.
- If you choose to create an account and sign in on BB Desk, your book, replay boards and standings are stored under your account in our database so you can open them from another browser. Access is restricted to your own account. You can delete it all with Clear all data while signed in.
- Player prices come from a public market-price feed; that request carries no information about you.
What is never collected
No passwords, payment details, browsing history, or anything from sites other than draftkings.com and BB Desk. No cookies are set for tracking.
Permissions the extension asks for
- draftkings.com: to read your contests with your session, and so the pull can run without a DraftKings tab open.
- Storage: to keep the last pull on this device so syncs are incremental.
